get up on this.

ALRIGHT, I CAVE. But I made it five months, so there. Also, Takanari hit 20k, Eureka hit 1k, etc. Naturally, this is for Takanari, Kino, Akito, Ys/Yuca, and Eureka, so here goes:

~QUESTION / RELATIONSHIP MEME~*
* In that, you ask questions, and I may return some if I can put together two thoughts for it.

I miss playing with you. This should be remedied.

Talk to me about your new canon! I know you were excited before apps, but I didn't catch much about it.

Also, Garrus is probably getting Eureka. And he is going to like it.

I do periodically have a soft spot for space operas, and Mass Effect is heavily influenced by both Babylon 5 and Firefly, which are my favorites in the genre. It has some sort of reference to just about any (western) Sci-Fi thing from the past 30 years or so, except for maybe Stargate. But honestly, the reason I wound up finally caving and picking up a couple of used copies from Gamestop was the fact that I started watching a silly Let's Play of the first game and when they got to Garrus I realized that the series had space dinosaurs.

As for how the games play, they're third-person shooters with RPG elements, but for people who suck at shooters (like me), there's a super-easy 'casual' setting so you can actually finish the game.

I did a pimping post with many youtube videos that you should watch.

It has been a while since I last watched Eureka 7. What point in canon is Eureka from?

Hmm, tempting . . . I'll see after I finish my Bayonetta walkthrough.

Eureka is from a slight grey area! In that, I will put my foot down when it becomes necessary, but she is before the shenanigans with the mine and the massive conflict between her, Renton, and Nirvash. Really, I was trying to avoid her realizing she was in love with Renton, because that gets her moving to the point of recklessness in canon, but I didn't want to deal with the mysteriousness that goes on with the mine nor having her give up on people yet. So, it's pretty early on! But she will move forward if/when a Renton pops up.

Any other games you've been enjoying lately?

Eureka and baby Neji? >.>

SO, DID YOU KNOW THEY THREADED BEFORE NEJI WAS TINY? Because I didn't!

As it is . . . Eureka has a soft spot for children. They are on her level, and she works better on a whole with them. She felt bad that she confused and worried Neji, but he seemed like he was okay, by the end. So, she felt a lot better about hanging with him! Because people might not want her around their children! It's cool! She'd love to sit down and play cars or color with him. ♥

What's hilarious is that Neji was already in her good books from their previous thread. She hasn't been introducing herself except to people that she wants to keep up with, so Neji was right up there already. Eureka didn't connect the two though, because . . . Well, she doesn't know much about this people getting smaller or bigger all of a sudden yet. She sees people age on a much slower basis and has never seen little kid into a big kid yet. When she makes the connect . . . Then, she'll still want to play cars with him.

REVERSE ME TINYNIN.

So, Tonka trucks and kunai. Best baby-sitting ever.

Immortal Rain is delicious, delicious mindfuck and a whole lot of pain. I sat around for six months trying not to app into something that I adore so, so much. Really, Rain's backstory is when it gets good in the third volume. Spoiler and bias, but Rain, Yuca, and Freya all grew up together and everything was cool . . . Until Yuca turned everyone at the orphanage to science experiments, shot Rain then fed him Freya, and made him immortal. Six hundred years later, the canon starts. It's just . . . Kaori is terrifying for coming up with it, because there is so much more, but it hurts so good. On a whole, it is a canon that I have NO complaints about it which is a miracle.

List 'em. You suddenly got a whole lot more characters than I remember.

OKAY if I recall correctly last time I asked was for first impressions and Takanari was hesitant to be around her.

I THINK THINGS HAVE CHANGED A BIT SINCE THEN

Yuuki adores Takanari! He's been a good friend to her and has been her BASTION OF SANITY AND NORMALCY who just accepts everything she throws at him. Almost alarmingly. Twice!! TWICE AND YOU DIDN'T BLINK WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ( ... )

That is to say, how is Takanari doing these days?

Die in a fire.

Takanari is . . . He's alright. He's rather numb, to be frank. Takanari is stuck in a waiting zone for himself, where he's not active in anything personally. He just acts as the sound board and safety blanket for a lot of people in camp while things go down in their lives. But that's understandable! Haine isn't around and neither is anyone else, except Shizumasa who will never rock the boat. He does have issues to tack onto and the like; really, there's always a ton of them which is why I love him so. But Takanari will continue to be in an okay place while he does what he can for everyone else until someone gets under his skin enough to push him at all. The longer he can be okay without Haine and not have any sort of break-down, the better, though.

God, list your line-up. Also, who is Mika dating? It's Shika, right?

Nakatsu Shuichi (HanaKimi), Michael (Angel Sanctuary), Sawada Tsunayoshi (Reborn), George Koizumi (Paradise Kiss), Ohno Kanako (Genshiken), Osaki Nana (Nana), Kotobuki Ebi (HanaKimi), Sohma Momiji (Derp).

Mika and Shika.... Mika has sort of been fighting it for like three years and especially fighting it for the past half year (He knew he seriously needed time to fix his headspace before dating someone new. 'Cause he was still dealing with issues from his and Raph's break-up; that relationship had issues on both ends). However, they are now together. Basically. Mika just hasn't told Shika that he considers them official. Mika sort of decides these things sometimes without telling the other involved party. They are living together and Mika is going home with Shika over vacation etc.

What are yours doing on vacation?

idkmybffnirvash November 29 2010, 08:28:23 UTC
Who has vacation . . . Takanari, Akito, Kino? Yup. Well, Takanari is going to be nice and cute on the first day, do a joint date with Haine and Shizumasa, check up on his friends, and all that. But on the second day, he's going to be shameless and hide out with Haine for the whole day, doing nothing but talking, flirting, enjoying her company, and seeing how far he can get. Not that he will push sex, but he has a lot of making-out to make up for.

Akito will murder anyone who interrupts her and Shigure. ♥ I would like to say that she may spare a few minutes for everyone else . . . But, frankly, Akito isn't bothering with home until she's staying there for good, so she is just going to break Shigure's hips in the meantime.

Kino . . . I have no clue. She'll likely head to any world that sounds good and check it out for the day. And eat, there will be so much eating and driving. She may forget to talk to people, actually.

How is Nana doing?

Takanari and Tiny!Zero or just an update on Takanarki and Zero.

idkmybffnirvash November 29 2010, 18:04:51 UTC
I . . . Am not even sure. Takanari keeps accruing awkward relationships that just flow however they ought to for that moment. Takanari doesn't mind nor dislike Zero, but he understands that Zero is very stubborn and strong in his opinions. But Zero respects Takanari having his own opinions, so Takanari isn't going to fight Zero on his own. He does look out for Zero at times, but Takanari thinks that he has enough people doing that it would likely suffocate Zero to have more. So, there's an agreement to sort of go their own ways that doesn't bother Takanari.

As for younger Zero . . . Ffff, Takanari sucks with kids. He doesn't know what to do with them, so talking with Zero was like walking on eggshells. He really wanted to pass Zero off on someone who would know what to do, but that's just not how the cards went. Funnily enough, as they talked more, Takanari managed to relax and appreciate Zero's younger self. It seemed strange for Zero to be such a docile child, but as they talked more, Takanari could connect the dots. It's kind of, ( ... )
