I knew I had something more to say about my intention to resume posting, but I couldn't remember it before...
It feels cowardly to keep criticising other people's posts without exposing any of my own thoughts to criticism. So if I say something that makes you think I'm a dickhead, please flame.
In late December, partly (or perhaps wholly) as the result of a brief conversation with exp_err, I resolved to increase the frequency of my lj entries. That wouldn't have taken much, but I seem to be a little short of my target.
At least two readers should share my delight at the news that a digitally remastered Director's Cut edition of Goodbye Pork Pie is to be released on DVD early next year, with a new stereo soundtrack and 150 minutes of extras that include new interviews and documentaries. This Gabriel business has gone on too long and, given lack of evidence, looks like it'll keep going. I was think that what The Bill needs now is a visit from Lord Flashheart.
When I got the Mini, I wondered what role it would take in my life. Would it seem like a friend? A pet? After a while I found that the relationship felt surprisingly like ownership of a car. Just watched most of My Favourite Film on ABC, but I missed the "Fight Club" discussion.
Unfortunately "Amelie" came in at No2 on the national poll, prompting Judith Lucy to tear it to shreds. Margaret Pomeranz's only comment was "I'm with Judith on this one," which seems reasonable, so why did she give it four stars on The Movie ShowSigrid
