[ Deep in thought --or more like non-thought, trying to keep from mulling over the day's events too deeply-- she ambles onto the compartment, watching her own feet. She tweaks a smile at the sight of him, a habit, noticing his frustration. She hands out her device to him. ]

Is the reception better on yours?

[ She pastes the smile on her face, not quite sincere but earnestly trying to be. ]

I haven't had any problems with using text, though the audio gets crackly.

[He sends an experimental text to JARVIS from her device. He holds onto it for a moment while he rapidly types out a string of code to JARVIS. He's programming him to amp up the reception on his device. Once a response comes back confirming his code he hands the device over to mess with his a bit more.]

[Rummy's been exploring the train out of curiosity, and to see if anyone knows where the fuck it's going. So far no luck. Wanting to just sit down and rest for a while, he wanders into the nearest compartment, not even caring if it's the one he woke up in or not. If anyone wants to kick him out, they can just go fuck themselves.

[Tony lives by that as well. He pours Rummy a drink and hands it to him.]

[ Arthur's making his rounds again, which brings him through compartment nine. The whole situation has him on edge, his steps slow and measured as he paces through the middle of the compartment. He slowly surveys his surroundings as he walks through, only stopping when he runs into a familiar face. ]

Mr. Stark?

Arthur. I'd say a pleasure to see you but I'd rather you be above ground. Care for a Scotch?

[ He manages a weak smile, more an upward quirk of the mouth than anything. ]

I'll pass, but thanks. [ He leans against a wall, chancing a glance outside just in time to catch what looks like downtown Paris flash by. It's gone after a moment or two. He's learned to ignore them by now, though his gaze still lingers a second too long. ]

Any luck making contact with the outside?
