I ripped the cuticle on my finger and the thing bled like crazy.  now it looks like an open wound with no blood.  hurts too.

I was surfing the adoptuskids.org site.  we've been open so long.  we could take another girl or a baby.  I want one I can keep, though.  watching my friends kids reminded me of how much fun a passle of kids is.

John and I have had some major talks over the years about this subject. I have to say, he has gotten MUCH better about it. But I understand what you mean. I think they just need talking to about it once in a while. The key is to do it at a different time when it is not happening. So they don't get defensive.

funny I was there too. But I didnt really find anything that was compatible. I cant really take on a child with profound disabilities.

the key is to look for sibling groups larger than 3! sometimes I let my imagination run wild and just search for the largest groups they have. It would be fun to have an instantly humungous family!

perhaps i am behind?
why is josie's birthmom having brain surgery?
sometimes i think it's easier to not have the non-custodial bio-parent in the scene...i know for us, john would love to see his dad, but i think not having that influence is a good thing and easier in that we don't have to plan around him or with him or anything like that...

do you tell your husband that he's gotten too predictable and he needs to woo you again?

before i met jason, i'd planned on having/adopting another baby by myself at about 32...i can see being single and having a great family of kids and pets...no dad/husband...maybe just some good friends who can be the positive mail influence you know without being too intrusive :) lol :)

the reason Josie ever came into foster care was because of neglect due to her bm not being able to care for herself, much less a baby. She has a brain disorder that causes her to have nearly constant seizures. She is having surgery to separate the halves of her brain.

I have tried to tell him what to do, show him what to do and then in exasperation told him that if he was my boyfriend, I would so be getting a new one. . . nothing works.
