I am out of context. Living at home. Possibly moving up to North Carolina for a job. Possibly leaving friends/brothers I've had since I was five. (17 years, budro). I'm too busy looking behind me while I'm about to make my next step. As I'm typing this, I'm looking to my left to a collage that Colleen made me. The Sum Of What We Will Miss.... anonymous August 24 2003, 12:10:41 UTC
I love the smiley and the entry. No, you're not the only person that goes asleep with those particular thoughts. For the first time since college, probably the earlier days of college, I got home at 3 am and woke up before 8 to be somewhere. And it was fun... check back with me later for details on that one....

I hope you're having a good weekend.

Cursed irrationality and the looping trains of thoughts it builds! Life is a series of loops, and it folds back upon itself over and over- and though time is linear, each string of experiences condenses to a point in the mind. Sometimes these points tear us as they expand from their source. It hurts, but we move on. You can't regret it, and you can change it- your past or any of those that you've touched.

But then, would you truly want to?
It is only the fear of the unknown that anguishes- when you sail out of sight of land, can you fear that you will lose sight? No, there's nothing to lose sight OF!

Curse these blights- these wrongs!- suffer them a hundred deaths, but no life within your mind! Go! Make your mistakes and bleed your regrets away!
Everything awaits you, if you have the courage to face it and seize the prize! Grasp it and let others worry of regret.

Hm. That was almost poetic. I meant to put that you can't change your own past- maybe I was having a Gatsby moment there. ::Grins::

that was poetic. For a moment I thought you were quoting something. But then you didn't cite your source and that would mean you're not following proper MLA format. And that's just not the Marty I know.

but I did undertand what you meant.
