I spent the day shopping with my mom. What was suppose to be a short 2 hour trip turned into an all day event. I managed to come home with 3 new tops, 2 pairs of amazingly flattering cuffed capris in black and khaki, and a pair of earrings. I got my first real paycheck from Dillards today. On lunch I went to the bank then bought myself a cute pair of sandals. They're strappy brown leather with a cork bottom. I love them. My day off has just started considering I I slept until 2:45. I suppose I was very very tired. I wish I had some money so I could sit outside and sip iced mochas. I'm going to see Star Wars with Isaac tommorrow, we're having a double date with Jessica and Dylan. Should be fun, even though I'm not a star wars fan.
I'm off to get dressed.

It feels really good to work a full eight hours a day. I feel accomplished. I now cherish my time and I'm not constantly thinking about how bored I am. Being out of work for almost a month also taught me the value of money. Considering I had no extra money and barely enough money to live on I couldn't go shopping just for something to do. I was told during training that the first few days at work I would be shadowing someone. I went in Friday and discovered that it's just me running the denim area. I spent hours organizing jeans, re stocking, and trying to figure out what the hell I was suppose to do. It was slow and I only made 3 sales. I signed up for the 2-5 training class today so I'll be able to go to the park with my mum and cooper.
