I just made 20E of that engraving job of the huge champagne bottle. Luckily I found some sneaky ways to make it easier to get a more exact copy of the birth card onto the glass.
How much time did you spend on it? 20 euros seems like not that much money. I think they make a hefty profit (maybe the jeweler already does?) on your work
But a (semi) steady supply would ofcourse be nice :p
twenty euros for two hours seems reasonable though not much :p
With the engraving of glasses being something not everyone can do, I think it could be valued more. The jeweler knows it's not as easy for them as engraving something silver or gold.
But alas, if you're happy with the extra spending money for your gambling addiction... :p
Actually engraving glasses is something everyone can do but most people don't seem to know that. *grin* It's as easy as tracing on paper almost. The trouble is the exactness of it. In times past you would have many more craftsmen who would engrave by hand and they could do anything. Now with the machines having to buy one for glass would be a too big investment for the availability for work
