I dont' know why it hasn't occurred to me that the two parties are primarily concerned with different aspects of policy.  For the most part, the Republicans are fixated on foreign policy and Iraq notwithstanding, the Democrats are focused on domestic policy.  This tends to be health care ( Read more... )

Taste of Chicago was really busy Saturday afternoon. Its always an odd sensation being in a sea of people. This picture doesn't do the crowd density justice since I waited until I was in a gap to try to take the photo. I'm sure looking in any direction, I saw more people at once than live in my town.
