Body Disposal

I was thinking the other day that we need some more creative methods of body disposal. The old standbys of burial or cremation are all well and good, but it just feels like we need something more these days. I wanna be made into a Lava Lamp! That wouild be awesome! But wouldn't he heat from the light cook the corpse?

Well, you'd probably need some additives -- glycerin, to give it cohesiveness and the ability to float bits, at least. If you mix in some embalming fluid, it should keep everything uncooked, and you could probably use different colors of fluid to change the corpselight.

It's got some kinks to be worked out yet; this is just the basic idea.

So you take a corpse and pump it full of bodily fluids? Sounds like a recipe for zombies, if you ask me.

You have some brilliant ideas there! :D That Lava lamp-thing sounds fantastic, but I personally think that something like AfterLight would be a better name for it. It's shorter and thus catchier, and "life" and "light" sound pretty much similar so it wouldn't be too complicated to figure out either. What do you think?

(Btw, in case you were wondering, I'm just somebody who stumbled upon your journal while searching for people who are interested in H.P. Lovecraft and Herbert West.)
