Haha, I don't know if Ian died or not. That's up to you to decide! But it also depends on how fast help came to save them.

Interestingly enough, I found this more beautiful than sad, the way Ian burst through a window just to be with Anthony. The memories were really cute too, which probably offset the sad tone to the rest of the story. When someone said ambulance, I read it as amberlamps. xP

I was trying to contras the sadness and disparity of the moment with something happier by using the descriptions of the memories and such, so I'm glad you picked up on that!
