I had just completed another assignment for my spirit-sapping art class the other day when I realized to my surprise that I had accidentally rendered myself (somewhat poorly) as an inhabitant of Sin City. Yes, it is unfortunate that my portrait depicts a level of toughness and animosity that I will never in reality achieve. Still, a boy can dream, can't he? My first step will be to acquire some bitchin' shades.

One of several elements involved in my final paper for Language Arts will be a comparison between Gaiman's American Gods and Shakespeare's Hamlet.

If you have to write any sort of explanation of the work, or talk about it, I suggest you focus on the sunglasses and go off into an absolutely unhinged rant about Morpheus and how we are all IN THE MATRIX RIGHT NOW OMG and did anyone see Sin City and so did the actual people make that or was it the robots running the matrix? either way it was pretty cool right and . . .

Then when you end up on crazy drugs you should sell some of them on the Internet.

That's what I would do, anyway.

Actually, the one merciful part of the class is that we are not required to write artist statement type things. Although I suppose there isn't anything to stop me including one anyway...

I find that crazy drugs sell better at junior high schools than on the internet. But hey, one has to start a business somewhere.
