(the Christian Rock thing)...The Mother of Three's firstborn's first suggestion for a band name might be worth consideration: Crucible. Tish's reaction ("That's a horrible name!") is yet another reason to find her infinitely admirable. Have you sold your bandmates on "Fabu-lush"? I also like "My dogs need to be fed." I am alone in liking the latter.
Have you, or any of your other B'ham-visiting friends, ever been to the Little Cheerful Cafe there? I want to know how it compares to Voula's Offshore Cafe predecessor. -em.
Regarding the name Crucible: the band hasn't discussed this at length, but I think there has been a certain silent agreement to avoid all band names that could lead to us playing the side stage at Ozzfest. There's also been a trend against ultra-long names, but I am considering taking up "my dogs need to be fed" as a blanket excuse for having to leave a room.
I haven't been to Little Cheerful, but Keenan has and I think she was pretty into it. I cannot imagine it being much worse than Voula's Offshore Cafe. It almost certainly contains fewer flies.
