Capricious life goal #231: Record a song with handclaps using a room full of people wearing gloves and mittens.

Speaking of which, the band continues its piecemeal recording of a smoother demo. You are sick of hearing about it. You would rather watch Full House re-runs and drink can after can of Tab.

School has become an unpluggable font of ( Read more... )

I guess the top contestants right now are Caroline No and The Trouble Seats. I like both, although I'd go with pretty much anything at this point. We'll see.

Did your father tell you I'd offered to write your fucking final paper? Segueing into yet more band names:

"Not that big a deal"
"Phucket" (an homage to Lush and/or the tsunami in Thailand)

I confess I've forgotten the name I was seriously going to suggest. It is, I am sure, no great loss. -em

Classes are done, technically speaking, but late paper-writing and finals still go on. Man, I don't even want to think about the UW. I'll be lucky if the community colleges still have anything to do with me after this quarter.

Damn! Your obscure cultural sightseeing outdoes mine. Do say hello to Alfred Molina for me.

That's fucking awesome that they still have those books. I thought they would have been destroyed for sure.

Red Dwarf makes me want to learn Esperanto. That, and my desire to speak a language which will have no practical application, ever. Although it definitely comes in above "hopelandic."
