So apparently Patience Please has a show tonight at the Vera Project. Starts at 7, we go on third or fourth or something, and I'm told it's free. Don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime offer.

It's a $4/$5 admission but I call that dirt cheap for such a fine line-up. Brian and I plan to attend; should we pretend not to know you? -em

It turned out to be free, though, right? I was in and out all night and they never bothered me for a stamp (and it's not like anyone was going, "ooh, there's the guy from Patience Please, he is above the law of stamps).

Anyway, now that the event is passed I will have to start bugging you for any media you may have produced (Brian spoke of brief digital-camera video? I would be horrified/delighted).

Indeed, not only is the Patience Please event passed, but Belle & Sebastian, where the conversation about media has already occurred, as well. I suggest, however, that you demand the original low-res, un-refined files from Brian immediately, as his post-production work could drag on. I think the song was the third one of your set but I don't remember for sure. Finally, as I said to Keenan on the night, you sounded ever so fine; a lot clearer (and dare one say "more confident"?) than the Marie Antoinette show, not that it wasn't swell as well. (I'm beginning to see the reason for the Elvis Costello comparisons.)-em

I wrote my last sitting outside where I could scarcely see the screen. That's my excuse for "anymjore." -em.
