You killed the car, Cameron.

So I'm sitting here eating my mango ice cream, which has turned to soft-serve in our less-than-freezing freezer (old-world charm no longer suffices and so we must search for lodging less leaky), and I suddenly remember the moment a few nights ago when I realized that Reconstruction Site was giving me goosebumps. I half-wonder if that moment has ( Read more... )

Was anyone's modeling career permanently destroyed? If not, I observe, "It was only a car." One trusts that you are uninjured? Reconstruction Site always gives you goosebumps; perhaps you should avoid it while operating motor vehicles. Or knives. Or blenders. Oh, definitely avoid it around blenders. Me, I continue to love it to pieces. Though sometimes, yes, it is a little much. But there's always Virtute with his helpful advice and perspective. I am, for the most part, uninjured. Sadly, Reconstruction Site does not always give me goosebumps; moreover, I'm a bigger fan of Left & Leaving than Reconstruction Site. Although both are tremendous. Tremendous! Of course, there are even certain moods -- certain, specific, highly unique moods, mind you -- in which I would suggest that Virtute take his gimmicky, preachy crap and shove it. Certain moods, you understand. Normally I would never say such things. And, either way, I will avoid listening to R.S. while in the presence of blenders.

The Chai does suck there, doesn't it? I have been, burned, literally and repeatedly, in the past. I do so miss the empty back room. Although I question your claim to have found it empty during the afternoon.

We should indeed "hang out." As the kids say. When will you be around this week? I am, for the most part, crafting sandwiches for assholes, or cleaning the apartment (soon there will be no germs at all! And all sixteen locks will have been properly turned thrice) but I'm sure there's an empty spot in there somewhere.

Unfortunately, I'm almost always working during that post-twelve slot; the only day this week that I'm not is Thursday, which sounds like it's maybe not so good. When I know my schedule for next week I'll post on your LJ or give you a call or something talky like that. Yeah, talky.
