Can't help but trace an outline. iheartleaven April 10 2006, 04:09:25 UTC
Some things I'm fond of, briefly and off the top of my head:
Elvis Costello, but only up through Armed Forces so far.
The New Pornographers / A.C. Newman
Blur, but I only have a best-of (and Modern Life is Rubbish on cassette somewhere)
You know I like the Dismemberment Plan and Elliott Smith, I'm sure
Those Voxtrot e.p.'s are really good
Chris Walla's solo stuff
I went through a huge Gold Chains period but it might be over now, ditto w/ MC Chris
Harvey Danger
Portishead, still, I think
Q And Not U, less waveringly
Quasi, substantially less waveringly,
and,-- can you tell that I'm just scanning this all from the "Artists" list in Itunes? can you?
Some white stripes stuff but not all of it, ditto wilco.

There. Done. Should've just sent an email.

Dude. V for Vendetta is way rad.

And I can't begin to express how cool it is that you play with Neil Young.
