by the way, i was in urban outfitters and saw this painting on canvas by amy ruppel. i'd heard of her before and seen her art, but when i saw the picture it reminded me SO much of the same style of art in the little golden books, and i said "this is what im starting my half sleeve with"...anyway, i told myself "if its meant to be it'll happen tonight" i called my artist [who is never available without at least a months notice] and he answered and said..."be here in 15, im finishing up a tattoo now". so i ended up with this:

Wow, that looks amazing! And very Golden-Book-y, which I think is how all tattoos should be from now on, of course. I'd love to see any pictures of it coloured in, even if they're not full-size. I'm desperate to know what colours you used!

And thanks for the compliment, too...all of my friends have now retracted their statements re the colouring in. :)
