My husband and I got these when we had been dating for about 7 months.

I'm not a big fan of relationship tattoos unless you are married, even then it's a bad idea most of the time. But what about the coordinates of your locations? That would be kind of cool.

If you aren't dedicated enough to each other to move to be together, you probably shouldn't get matching tattoos. (and I've been in a long-distance relationship for over 6 years.) But the coordinates are a cute idea!

That's not really fair, what if people are in the military or studying at different universities or have to travel far away for work? Doesn't mean they're not dedicated!

My first husband had my name and our daughter's name on his arm. It has caused problems for him in that he refuses to cover it up, and he tells women "I still love her, I want that name there, deal with it." m

I'm not much on names although I have "Daddy's Little Girl" on my thigh and it has nothing to do with my father. And I have two memorial tattoos for partners who died.

What about tattoos that coordinate but don't necessarily match? I have a chestpiece featuring a chickadee and my husband always jokes that he's going to get a tattoo of a city pigeon. They could be thematically similar, but not so specific that you'd regret it a billion years later.
