Now I understand. Why he became the man we see in ELM. He's totally devastated. His self-destructive mode is full on. I wish he opened up to Chloe..But he did what he did, and although we know where that had led him, I want to see more. How did he decided to marry Tess? How did he rule his company? Or was it Chloe saving it? Looking forward to the last (as I recall) one-shot before the sequel. I can't wait for it! Thanks for the chapter :)
Exactly. Ollie is on one of his downward spirals, but since Chloe doesn't know why and he won't let her in and it increases the rift between them. You will see more about Ollie and Tess and their plan in the next story and you're right; it is the last in this prequel series. Oliver stopped paying attention to the company because he was too depressed to care, but Chloe held everything together; basically doing her job and his. Thanks so much for the comments! Gosh this was such an emotional chapter, but it does explain Oliver's attitude in 'Everybody Loves Me.' I love all these one-shots so much because of how everything is unfolding, I went from disliking this Oliver (in the ELM storyline) to adoring him in previous chapters and now after reading this, I just feel so sad for him. This update was really good, can't wait to read more :D

Anyway, so in a few words I will try to say what I felt reading. Awwwwwwn Ollie. I so could picture the moments, the rain, everything... And with your explanation abt his feelings in my last comment, I totally get him even more in this moment of the fic. He is so lost, feeling lonely, that even be close or let in someone that is loyal to him and could be someone to be there to him share his thoughts in a friendly way, to someone he admires and thinks worths and is a good person he doesnt think it worths it. So he push away and just atract bad things to him... . Ok NOW I will read the new one shot ;)

Wow what a change in Oliver from the last story. You gotta feel for him in this one. As if having Lionel steal something he had working so hard right out from under him he then has to deal with finding out about his involvement in the death of his parents.

He really has nothing to fall back on when something like this occur to him. He doesn't know his own inner strenght because his never been put to the test like canon Oliver on the island. And now he's alienated almost everyone that matters *bites nails* I can't wait to read the next prequel. Marrying Tess can't be a good thing from Chloe's perspectiv (or anybodys really lol), so I'll bet the emotional distance between them is only getting bigger *gulp* I'm off to read..
