Probably I shouldn't do this here but I didn't know if sending you a message it'd work so here I am.

I'm sorry, I haven't read your last two stories and neither this one (though I will, that's for sure, I can't wait to do it *.*) mainly because I have a new job which is more in the real world and I don't spend as much time online as I used to before so it will take me more time to read your amazing stories...

I've got mixed feelings, on the one hand, I'm so thrilled that you posted this sequel, and for the record I do love it. But I'm sad for Chloe, she had hope that Oliver would start to make some (little) changes and instead she gets this terrifying call. And it breaks my heart that Oliver's torturing himself. Green Arrow's a lot to live up to. Thank you for posting today, it's a wonderful present. Merry Christmas!

Thank you. Aw, I know. I felt bad for Chloe too because he really let her down but he let himself down too. He does have a lot to live up to and he's never had someone believe in him before, including himself. But Chloe walking out was a wake up call that he needed. Merry Christmas to you too! :)

Uuuuuuuuh things are going faster than I thought. Many things going on!!! This cap already brought many things to Chlollie. Like Chloe caring and Ollie already thinking about his life and we actually already talking abt friendship, instead of the usual 'just professional' reationship. I think after all this discussion Ollie will make something abt it.

Thank you! If it makes you feel better, this is really the only chapter that moves this fast. To be honest, when I first started writing ELM, I wasn't ever planning to write a sequel. If I had been, there's something I wouldn't have done so I needed to put a bit of a time jump in this story to fix it. You'll figure out what I'm talking about (if you haven't already) in the next chapter. Ollie will definitely make some changes. I'm glad you're enjoying this so far. :)

This is an awesome start, Mandy. I actually love it that Oliver is so fucked up in this, it mirrors the whole Savior-Roulette period in the main 'verse quite well. But I love it even more that he found Chloe's little hideout, and talked to her about all that happened, and about what he wants to be. Also, your Chloe voice is incredible in this. I can feel how frustrated she is, how angry and hurt she is, but it's also clear that she'll never lose her determination, nor her wanting to make things better. :)

Thanks Tissa! I'm glad you're enjoying this. That's exactly what I was going for. Oliver didn't just wake up one morning and decide to save the world and this one isn't going to either. He needed a push but he's still not quite ready to believe he can be this person even if he wants to be, which he totally does. Aw! Thanks. Chloe is very determined and I don't think she quite realized how much she cared and then him not even bothering to try was the last straw.
