That's no way to finish a chapter, bitch. Holy Mother of cliffhangers. And the first part of the chapter it's over 6000 words, and that's because your muse decide to go away for a bit, I'm guessing she's back and she's better than ever.
Okay, that is the perfect first date, but even if the whole thing sucked, Oliver Queen in a suit, who throws wine in Oliver Queen in a suit??? It was really good the way you wrote the perfect first date going wrong because of his past, it's good that you don't try to pretend he's suddenly perfect and all that ever happened doesn't matter anymore. That's why I love your writing so much, it's realistic.
And awww, I loved the part where he told her why he was like that in the rain, and I still can't believe you finished the chapter like that.
I feel like a kid in an amusement park every time I'm reading this fic, I read one chapter and I think, okay, that's the best one, then you post a new chapter and I go again, okay, that's the best one.
Aw, thank you, sister, and yes, it was an evil place to leave it. I also couldn't post the banner that went with it until I can post the second half. But I knew LJ wouldn't fit it in one post so I figured I might as well post it.
Hahahaha, I love that you're offended for the suit. Exactly. He's still Oliver Queen and he was a jerk for a long time. People aren't going to forget that, especially the ones who don't know that he's Green Arrow now.
I'm glad you enjoyed this and thank you for saying that. I'm happy you like this story/universe so much. ♥
OMG, M! The first date. This was so amazing! I love that Chloe changed her outfit a bunch of times and the fact that she's all nervous with butterflies. I think it's utterly adorable and so on spot because even though she's known Oliver for a while this is a completely new dimension to their relationship
( ... )
Thanks, C. I'm glad you found that first part so adorable. She really was nervous. Haha, Lois is a bad liar.
Aw, the dinner scene was rough. But Ollie can't totally escape his past and Chloe gets that because she's seen him at his worst but she still loves him.
I'm glad you enjoyed the talk. It was important that she understood that part of him and why he was so broken. Hahaha. Smut is coming.
Well, I kinda knew their date would't go smoothly, but I think it was exactly what they needed - to open up a little more. And I definitely like where it is going! ;) Can't wait for Part 2, update soon, please! :) I like how Chloe doesn't seem affected by the scene in the restaurant and how determined is she to make Oliver believe in himself. Aaaww, I just love the 2 of tehm, that's it! :)
Thank you! Yeah, it couldn't be that easy for them. The people close to Oliver know that he's changed but the rest of the world has no idea so stuff like that is bound to happen and Chloe gets it because she's realistic. She knows that Ollie made bad choices but she can look past it. Glad you're looking forward to the next part. :)
lovely chapter as usual cant wait to read more ! poor Chloe at her first date with Oliver fortunatly they end up at his place and finally have a good nite also the way he confessed to her about his parents so sad !! well done ! thanks !
Aw, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this and that you're looking forward to the next part. Chloe didn't mind the date being ruined as much as Ollie did. She'd rather be alone with him. ;) It was sad to write, but it really needed to come out since that was such a pivotal moment in their relationship. Thanks again!
