it feels like i'm the only person on the planet who doesn't have anything in common with their sibling...my little sister is so immensely different than me. it's strange that we were raised in the same household, yet turned out completely different women. she is a mom and a wife, and that's pretty much her entire life. not that there's anything ( Read more... )

Me and my little sister are total opposites as well. It's so bad to the point where it's just hard to find things to talk about with her. It makes me really sad.

Yeah, that is sad no one knows I have a sister. Haha, shows how much I actually talk about her I guess. Wow, haha.

She is seventeen. So not only is she a snotty teenager, but she is so different than me when I was a teen that I can not relate to her about that, and we have nothing in common from me being an adult and her being a teen. UGH, haha.

My brother and I are complete opposites, but get along amazingly well.. via the phone/mail since he is ALWAYS in prison.

The weird thing is, we can only communicate in a healthy manner these ways. When we see each other we stress each other out. I get so sad when I see him shaking and become judgemental with what he does with his time (doesn't do with this time). He gets insecure and knows I'm feeling this way and then wants to immediately leave.

It's weird.

Yet, he is my big brother and I love him SO much. I would do anything for him. For now, that means sending 2 letters a week.

that's how i feel about amy too. we have great phone conversations sometimes if we keep it light or are talking about emma/family stuff. but when we get together it's so awkward and weird. i guess we can be thankful we at least WANT to maintain a relationship with our siblings. some people don't even talk to theirs'.
