Sometime in the last two days (thermometer doesn't record when), we hit 122 degrees in the sun and 95 in the shade.

I am slowly doing better. singingnettle seems to be less sick as well. These are both good things.

So much for the "I expect that you'll take about a week for you to heal. We get some people who are better in a couple of days. Most people take a week to heal. A few take about three weeks to heal." Looks like I'm in the latter category. *sigh*.

For those of you who haven't heard, I had an emergency appendectomy Friday. I'm doing reasonably well at this point. Possibly TMI behind the cuts. You Have Been Warned.

Picked up a copy today from Fry's. Been playing it since about 11 pm. Great game, excellent graphics -- and it feels like driving a real car in many respects.
