Yes, that is a scary email. Makes me glad I don't get anything like that. O_o;;
But hmm, as regards to the friends only thing, I had a couple of reasons for locking my journal, the main one being that I tend to attract a lot of rude and weird people who type in chatspeak. The second is that I used to put up a lot of media-related stuff that I'd scanned or ripped for friends and got complete strangers sucking away my bandwidth instead. I know, I know, I'm stingy, but I don't have much money these days, so hosting and domain costs come secondary to things like rent and bills, waah.
And yay, Mai-Otome ending! Well, not really *yay*, but more a sense of 'thank god it's over' type of thing. Won't see it till tomorrow, though. I'm just hoping that Mai will actually do *something*, because if they brought her in just for that one episode to have her cooking then I'm going to weep. ;__;
Those are two things I hadn't thought about. I don't think that's being stingy at all; that's like saying "I mailed a letter and I want it to reach the sendee." Chatspeak is a perfectly valid for locking anything. That's an act of self-defense. Whenever some random person decides to be rude or otherwise obnoxious in my journal, I send them a very polite, very nasty response. I wish I were a nicer person but some people just do things that rub me the wrong way. ^_^;; You're much nicer and more patient than I am.
Well, Otome's not completely over. I heard the OAVs will cover the next crisis that hits the Otome world. I'll be interested to see what kind of crisis can be solved in two hours. I won't spoil you for the ending of the show. Let's talk about it tomorrow! I want to talk about it with someone who has seen both shows.
Yes, I capped it from the 'This Week's Armitage' special~! I love the little omake they tack onto the DVD's, however fanservicey they are. XD
Let's talk about it tomorrow! I want to talk about it with someone who has seen both shows. Yes, let's talk~! I finally got round to watching it and putting up a few screencaps in my journal, and I do think they did a rather good job with the final. There were still plotholes galore, of course, but the action and the gay made up for it, two things I've sorely been missing in this series. I actually re-watched Mai-Hime recently, which kind of made me notice how little Mai-Otome has in the way of fight scenes in comparison. The Arika-Nina-Mashiro friendship thing also pales considerably next to what they had with Mai, Mikoto and Natsuki in Hime. When Mai and Mikoto are fighting one another it's genuinely upsetting, but when Arika and Nina are fighting it's just bleh

...Considering the context of your entry, I feel slightly guilty about nudging in, but I wanted to let you know that your FST request for FF7's Turks is posted at the community ( here).
Hope you enjoy the soundtrack - I had a lot of fun making it. ^^

Psst! Stop posting so much chocolate! One day, I might manage to convince myself that I can actually afford it and my bank account will cry. ^_^;;
