When did L become L? Was he simply born, being him? Did he know this was his fate from the very beginning? Was he too young when he was given his first case? Or, more likely, was he filled with impatient, naive excitement.

Heya!

Just dropping a note - you said in your post on dndr that you were new and nervous, but your L is seriously fantastic. I'm enjoying threading with him a LOT, and his indulging Matt in the cake-disaster-scenario put a big goofy smile on my face. <33 Much luff!

Also, I like the concept... it's difficult to imagine L 'starting out' or 'finding his feet', but the idea of him, hm - getting a better grasp of how to influence people despite his youth, growing in outward confidence to match inner conviction... it's a nice sort of stage to try to capture. XD

Oh my, oh my, that's SO nice to hear, you have no idea. I'm wearing the biggest grin right now. That's exactly the kind of fledgling feel I'm going for. I want to play L who's had his growth spurt but doesn't quite know where his knees and elbows are yet, so to speak.

Hopefully my portrayal with smooth out the last few bumps along the road, as I sort out completely in my head where the various lines are, but the reassurance really helps. :D

Also- ickle-matt is SO CUTE OMFG. I want to just RUFFLE HIS HAIR SO BADLY. And so does L, in a faintly serious, never-cracking-a-smile straight faced way.

Heh, I know how scary it can be to wander into a new RP... but yes! Growth-spurty-L is awesome and he gets two thumbs up from the sleepless Scot in the corner XD

And heee, the more Mail sees of all these Ls the more *_____* he gets. He was SO CHUFFED at the thought of being protector-guy while attempting baking with L XD

We clearly need to thread this, and have it go SO SO wrong. I'm thinking L was serious about not being able to cook, and some (preferably dignified) soul needs to walk in and shout 'OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT????'
