I think the title may be a lie. Or maybe not. I do have thoughts but I've been struck by the inability to express them. And that's rare for me. Apparently when Smallville is good to Chloe, I lose the ability to think rationally about the show.
I think some reviews touched upon how I feel and expressed my feelings better than I will be able to so

She was herself when she was reporting. She believed in the importance of what she was doing and had faith that the truth she reported could change the world one story at a time. I want that to see that self-assurance, that confidence, that belief in herself again.

With Clark...
While using Oliver as a placeholder it did its job in the sense that she needed someone who cared about her to be there while she expressed herself. I just felt that the message and emotion behind her words would have been given some weight and resonated with the audience had it been shared with the one person who had been her witness and constant throughout her Journey.
We are down to one episode (that I know of). All I can hope for as a viewer who has been there since the day she made that bet, that the writers honor that shared history.
I would also like to see her return to her passion in Journalism (NOT TEACHING IT BACK AT THE TORCH.)

Oliver never knew the Chloe that she pointed at in the yearbook and it would have made sense to have Clark there but it's a minor complaint in my book in the large scheme of things.
It does seem that Fortune will have Clark and Chloe share scenes and screentime and plot. I hope it's as honest and heartfelt and meaningful for Chlark as I felt Masquerade to be for Chloe. Al mentioned on Twitter that Chlark fans would be happy with it. I guess we'll see how right (or wrong) he was in a few days.
I know this contradicts my earlier statement but I think I'll stab something if Chloe decides her vocation is teaching. I just will.

I would love for her to pursue her career in a different city if circumstances demanded it.
