I think the title may be a lie. Or maybe not. I do have thoughts but I've been struck by the inability to express them. And that's rare for me. Apparently when Smallville is good to Chloe, I lose the ability to think rationally about the show.

For me after what they've shown over the last two seasons I wouldn't buy her purely just going back to reporting. The perfect scenario for me would be doing both, helping her heroes and doing reporting, as a cover maybe?

I can't ever imagine Chloe not helping her heroes and I don't want to. I think she'll be able to handle both.

Thanks for finding all these reviews. I usually don't read SV articles (partly ennui, partly fear of what I might see in both the content and the comments) so I wouldn't have seen these great quotes otherwise. It's nice to see others recognise that the writers have been all over the place with her character in recent seasons and how far they've strayed from OldSchool!Chloe. Did the IGN reviewer make a typo when he wrote 2.0?

I've said before that I ship Chloe/Journalism above everything else; I think it's what made her happiest. If the show gives me that, I'm not too fazed about what happens on the romance front.

I want reporter!Chloe back, because I believe it's who she is. You can't stop being a writer any more than you can stop being right or left-handed. Just like you can't make yourself a writer if you aren't compelled in your soul to be one. You either are you aren't, I think.

I don't hate her being Watchtower at all. I think of it as being like Ollie's Day job, running Queen Industries. But being Green Arrow is who he is, just like being a reporter is who she is.

Oh, it would be so nice to see reporter!Chloe again. I've really missed her.

I agree with everything. Everything.

And the show gave us reporter Chloe back. But as always I wish they'd handled it better. But at least we have her back.
