Ha, it did make the situation awkward (for me) for a while, but it stopped bothering me over the summer. Then they had to go and make a big deal out of it again...

yay for first rant! I rant only every post...: P

First off, boys aren't aware of what's going on around them and are dumb. But I do think they are genuine in wanting that group dynamic back. When I've talked to Alek, and I mention one of your names, he says that he misses hanging out with you guys. So maybe you an Alek aren't that good of friends, but it seems like Minty and Alek get along well and have a lot of similar interests. So maybe they can spend more time together and that will make them happy.

You know, I didn't believe that it was true. That all boys aren't aware. But now I do. How they failed to see the real problem is beyond me... I could understand if it had only been happening for a few months and therefore is only obvious to me, but they've had an entire year to figure it out. Seriously.

Yeah, I thought that giving them space to spend time together would get them off my back. It had the opposite effect.

Ah, that's too bad that the group dynamic fell apart but that's life. The same thing happened with my big freshman year friend group and it hit other people a lot harder than it hit me. I don't know, I didn't care so much when we went from 20 to 4 people but I guess the lack of community/groups of friends effects some more than others. Hope everything gets figured out soon! <3

Thanks, I hope it works out soon, too. Apparently he didn't take it very well, but we had breakfast with him this morning and he didn't seem upset. So yeah. We'll see, I guess.

20 to 4... I'm just trying to go from 3 to 2, and only some of the time. Why does everything have to be such a big deal?
