It's been snowing here again (SNOW ON EASTER?! WTF) this weekend, so I've spent most of my time inside lately. It's awesome. Seriously.

It's been a while since I've looked around here.
First of all, THANKS to everyone who wished me happy birthday. I'm not sure what exactly I have to look forward to being 23, but it's nice to be here. My first birthday that didn't involve dinner on my folks or skipping class. Strange.

Tonight I took an important step towards geeking myself out on a regular basis and joined the Denver Chess Club. It felt good, very familiar, to be back in that kind of environment. I don't know what it is about college towns and coffee shops, but I don't see myself outgrowing them anytime soon. Just something about the clatter of dishes and the whoosh of a an espresso machine makes me feel more at home and more productive. Sort of. I hate Joe Buck.
Seriously, I fucking hate Joe Buck. He mugs way too much and his voice feels like fingernails on my brain's chalkboard. He's the kind of announcer who would say that he only watches the Super Bowl for the commericals. -
