Cooks Source False Claim

If you read the Cooks Source 'appology'/statement on their site, they claim that the photos and scans of their publication on their FB page were placed there by hackers. Although, if you look at the time stamps on the photos, they were uploaded MONTHS before the entire Griggs fiasco happened. Starting off your appology with an outright lie to deflect blame and paint yourself as a victim is a very poor start.
I am grateful for your difficulties in plagiarism, else I never would have found your blog and the awesome world of other people who want to know what historical food must have tasted like. Also, I completely <3 your peppy optimism and graceful way of handling this madness. And I can tell myself it's for homework to keep up with your case as I am in law school.... :D
Thanks for standing up for what is right and as a result showing all of us that every person can help make the world better. (And teaching us all a bit of history about Pie along the way!) John
Monica, I think this is about to start all over again. Suzanne McMinn, a writer who runs a website called Chickens In The Road, had some photos lifted by a magazine called Dairy Goat Journal, again without credit or compensation. And its publisher was, believe it or not, even more rude to her.

OK You are officialy the most AWESOME source for the "little guy" blogger to refer to...lol. the publisher of Dairy Goat Journel just sent the Chickens In The Road writer, Suzanne a check for use of her photo...citing the "Cooks Source" response!!! I've been reading the comments on that entry, Glenda, and I tend to agree with what more than a few of them said -- Wait to celebrate until after the check arrives, has been deposited, and clears.
