i made tator tots in a pan and i am not good at cooking so i heated the oil up too much and it splattered all over. "MEGAN", i yelled "hot oil is flying everywhere!"

i really like how you did not simply say "I yelled, 'MEGAN, hot oil is flying everywhere!'".

you may not be good at cooking but you are good at word choice and placement, always.
