The title ruined it for me. Everything that happened to this girl was so farfetched that I was convinced, until the end of the book, that it was all a product of her imagination. Oh well.

With illustrations by Arthur Szyk; gotta love a book with pictures! Some were cute, while some of the sad-looking children were just downright creepy.
I think I prefer the Grimm Brothers--a lot more action and the preaching isn't as obvious at times.
