Not easy to understand another´s demons that can break a person apart but the greatest sorrow is for the people close to that someone, the ones left behind with the questions. =(

I didn't really know much about him, but any time someone passes so young it is sad. I feel deeply for his family having lost his mother and now losing him--That breaks my heart. :(

Well, I didn´t know much abut him either - apart from his label. But yes, the human being behind it is a heartbreaking story although I believe it to be much simplified by the news reports, we will never get to know the story behind.

Oh yeah, though the great ones never seem to grace the earth with their talent for too long - Mc Queen should really be remembered for his work, such a symbol for fashion-as-art.

Well I guess most people who aren´t involved in or obsessive about fashion in some way can recognize all those tons of designers out there; but yes he was one of those who really stood out y´know..
Fashion can seem really bleak and superficial but is all about art on this level and rarely appreciated the way it should.. more like "great idea but who would actually wear that??" =D
