Wow...damn. I might have to see that awful version of Crime and Punishment just because...

So, little did I know, but a fellow coworker was listening in on that conversation. Last night I was told when I came in to work that I would have a trainee. And then...he comes striding up, sticks out his hand, peers at my face and says, "Hey, are you Kathryn? Who's Paul?" I pretty much almost died.

Oh, dear Lord, I'm so sorry, but at the same time, that's fuckin' hilarious. Awesomely hilarious, actually, I rarely ever 'laugh out loud' at stuff i read on the internet, but this was one of those occaisions.

It was even funny for me, while I was feeling mortified. He was cool, though. I told him I'm a prude and people tease me, and he was like "Cool. I'm from England and the immigration people revoked my license. Wouldn't it be awesome to walk on Jello right now?" And it was the start of a beautiful friendship. (It helps that he's pierced and tattooed.)

I remember watching Crispin Glover on the Craig Ferguson show two years ago. He was hawking this strange film about heaven, hell and autism. The clip showed on the show was utterly incomprehensible.

Afterward there was this bit of dialog between Ferguson and Glover that went something like:

Ferguson: So, you're showing this at Sundance?
Glover: Yes.
Ferguson: It'll fit in there with all the weirdos. They'll like it.

Glover looked ready for the kill. Best moment ever of the wildly unfunny Craig Ferguson show.

That was probably "What Is It?" which I never plan on seeing, and I only really know that because I'm an IMDB freak. As much as I enjoy Crispin Glover [which I have no idea why], that would've been great to see.
