Since my health is getting better, and the wedding is almost over, my mind is turning to the next things to worry about. Money seems to be foremost of these, since sometime in the next month or so I hope to try again for a loan to consolidate my remaining debt. Actually, I think it sounds like you are on the right track doing what you are doing. Spend less, pay down debt. Try and get debt-management tools when possible (the consolidation loan).

Keep on this course, and I don't see why you need to change. Yes, you are giving piles of interest money to the lenders, but you are also living your life without misery. No misery and heading the right direction == good enough.

If the debt really pissed you off, you could do the other things you mention. It sounds like the other things bug you more than the interest, so don't do them.

The other day I was thinking your stuff would be perfect to sell on Etsy - http://www.etsy.com/

I have the same problem with crafting and orders. If your purpose was to make things to sell and you gave yourself deadlines, would it help? Because paying down debt is a great purpose! I wish I lived closer... I'd love to do craft days with people and just spend the whole day on little projects.

But I agree with Kevin - sounds like you're on the right track. If you get impatient, you'll figure something out.

One of the things I really worry about with selling my stuff is that I don't want making stuff to become a chore, or I won't do it for fun anymore.

I wish you were closer, too, because craft days would be awesome!

Keep at it. Don't take your foot off the gas. Every dollar you can scrounge until the balances are 0.
