Yay on the title & pay change! I saw the title change pop up on linked in & was hoping that they did a salary increase as well. :)

Sad that they can't figure out how to deal with flex time or something a bit more outside of the M-F typical hours. :/

I like livejournal because it feels more connected and intimate. I'll friend anyone on the microblogs, and toss up random links and tidbits of thought, but not generally anything truly personal. And it seems like most people who still post here do the same sort of thing - either more in-depth in the LJ version, or more personal, or both.

Congrats on the raise, and good luck with the weaning!!!

I totally knew it was you! and thank you, those are very helpful thoughts. . and its funny. .i'm not NOT enjoying nursing, i actually really love and will be sad when we are past this stage. I'm loving the doing but just needing sleep. . .and we're really trying to let him lead us toward when he's ready. . .and so last night, as if he understood, he stopped nursing after just a few minutes, wanted to sit up and reached for books to read, so we read a few books, and then he reached for his crib! so i put him in it and he laid down and i just sat with him quietly as he fell asleep all on his own
