There are nights when I come home, where Jacoby is sleeping in my spot. I pick him, carry him to his bed, and he sleepily responds to my endearments, "Good night Jacoby." "...good night Daddy." "I love you." "...I love you too."

This is one of moments that distills for me what it means to be a father.

Things continue to go well. I had my first PT session less than 24 hours after the surgery, and my therapist was astounded by the condition of my knee. I was able to completely straighten my leg, and bend to 105 degrees without assistance, both of which generally take a week at minimum. Good evening friends!

At the moment I feel great! Hopefully things stay that way. There should be less pain this go-round as I had a donated graft, rather than stealing from my own body. A new kinship to Goldenoak!

I'll update again tomorrow about meds and things.
