So what's everyone doing Valentine's Day week? Me, I'll be nerding it out. Last day on Tuesday, which means exam! And then the next course starts on (hopefully) Thursday, so we won't be off calendar.
Ohh, the dog! I was so amused when she was 'offering' to the eagle. LOL moment!
I was surprised about Tom Wisdom too! He's...past mid-30 now, I think, so he may have been nearly or near mid-30s when he made the movie, but he looks really young. The only one who had a storyline I paid attention to was Amber Tamblyn's, Alexis was, like I said, pretty and that's pretty much it. :D
Dear John, unlike the book, had a happy ending. Another reason why I didn't avoid it. :D Then again, even if it was a sad ending, I would've watched it all the same. For the very same reason -- the pretty! The soundtrack's pretty good, if you're into the acoustic kind of thing.
LMAO @ spoiler! Erm, how do you do the highlighting thing?
Whatever, it isn't working. SPOILER! ---------------------------------- the happily ever after wasn't put into detail, but they both lived and was all smiley and hugging each other in the end :D
I REALLY liked The Proposal. I sometimes find romcoms somewhat boring, because the only funny parts were in the trailer. But this was definitely not the case here. I enjoyed it a lot - even my boyfriend did ;)
I haven't watched any romcoms in a while, so I can't say much on that! :D Nothing bad comes to mind, although it's probably because it was so bad it didn't leave a mark. I do vaguely recall there was a movie where the best part was in the trailer and that was it, but I can't remember which. :D
I'm sorry, I'll be one of those who hasn't read a sentence of the book. :D I have this strange thing though, where I find trouble liking a character when the actor/actress portraying him/her isn't someone I like. That's why Blake and America just didn't do anything for me. Tom and Amber's character and her hot boyfriend were awesome, along with the girls' friendship. Who wouldn't want to go on a trip to Greece with their girlfriends? :D

Ohh, there are a lot of books that I think people would consider as being mediocre but I love them for some reason, so. :D It's not even as good a reason as yours, but hey, I guess if you enjoy them...I can't say the same for horrible stuff like Twilight though
