Tonight I did something I've never been brave enough to do before.

I karaoked solo.

It was scary and my knees shook, but I did it.

I had to do it, on New Years Day, and know it can only be a good sign for the year.

Sometimes it is good to be superstitious.

My friend is a drug addict.  I should also mention, a highly successful, professional drug addict.  He is into pain pills and speed.  I know her has been trying to fight his demons for a while now.  He is in the middle of a divorce with kids and is afraid to go to in-patient treatment for fear that he will lose all custody of his kids if he does ( Read more... )
