Sometimes, I just try to find something. Something from the past that is my own, MINE. Not his. Not his memory. Not anything to do with him. All mine. Something I salvaged from our relationship, so I can say that I did not lose EVERYTHING. No, because I still have THAT. It gives me a sense of... relief.

For one year and two months I have never lied to him. It hurts me alot when he lies to me so easily because i put so much trust in him. What else has he lied about?      Cultural values are important and diversity is respected, but so much culture that it incites racism is terrible. Yeah take comfort that there are others here that share your feelings and understand what it is like to have to assimilate into a new country. But culture doesnt define a person. I fill myself with a throat-ish level of work. Then i don't leave myself any time to do it, which leads to a lack of sleep and therefore a lack of will to do anything.
It's a vicious cycle.
