So, I have my drawing portfolio which is due next week. I have 6 pieces, and I need about 15-20, so I'm going to the Metropolitan Museum tomorrow to sketch a bunch of sculptures. Today marked a very important day in my life, and my career, and my reason for existing in New York City at Parsons. I've been a bit depressed and discouraged for a few weeks now. I'm thinking of taking off school the semester of Fall 2005. I'm going to study at Parsons-Paris, and I was thinking of just working that semester so I'll have some money. It would only set me back one semester, and I'd have money to spend in Paris. What do you think?

I was supposed to photograph the NYC marathon today, but I have been a bit under the weather, and felt terrible this morning. So, I slept until 2pm. It was beautiful. Then, the highlight of my night was eating for FREE at Zen Palate, a Chinese vegetarian restaurant on Union Square. It's my new favorite. Well, it's been one of those weeks. As described in the previous entry, I've had some roomate issues. So, my roomate and I have been fighting. Actually, she's the only one who has the problem- with me. And, I had no idea. One night, she flipped on me, and told me that she had a problem with me because I'm negative. I have more stuff to do than I could even imagine, and I really don't think I will sleep for the next 3 days, consecutively, at all. Period. I miss my mom and dad SO much. And I feel like a baby. I guess I miss them today especially because I just had a really bad day, and I just needed a hug. I just really need someone to talk to, and I'm feeling really lonely right now, because all my friends are not here, and my parents are sleeping. I'm going to do my homework.

So, if you haven't heard of the Frick Collection- hear this. It's a mansion on 5th Avenue at 70th Street, and it is the most amazing collection of paintings and sculpture. Well, not the most amazing, but the house- oh the house. I want that house to be mine. That's it. I want it. *Sigh.* Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for good ole apartment ( Read more... )
