My mom is still in the hospital. She might get to go home today depending on how she is feeling. she had to go back into surgery last night because of a hematoma (blood clot). They think they got all of the cancer though. they still have more tests to run but the doctor is fairly certain it's stage 1. (low = good, like golf). So, hopefully ( Read more... )

Ahhh, it's been a while. Spring break was pretty great. I had an awesome time with kevin and david in new orleans. the weather there was great! I had my first crawfish boil, and pretty much everything we ate there was awesome. And they have so many daquiri bars, its mind boggling. well, it was -19 when I woke up at 8. it was -14 at noon. and I dont know what it was when I left school but it felt downright balmy... okay, not balmy but warmer than -19. my car still didn't want to start though. the forecasted high was -1 for today. i dont know if it got that warm. it's -15 now. ...the high for sunday is -4. and this, of ( Read more... )

Well, winter has officially dropped on Crookston like a ton of lead plates. It snowed on friday, and saturday, and sunday, it didn't snow monday, but it's snowing today. It was -20 yesterday with the windchill, and it seemed to me (I don't know officially) that Monday was significantly warmer than Saturday. Duluth was kids stuff compared to this ( Read more... )
