I know how to sew, however I don't really .....uh...make stuff too well.
So I'm kinda stuck on my Turkey Shoes!
Anyone that knows anything about shoes, props, ect I love you for the rest of my life for a bit of help

holy mother!! Where the hell did you get that quilted gold fabric??? I've been looking for that same fabric since the summer.
To help you I would need a reference image to answer your questions?

I went to the Salvation army and tore apart a pillow

I think you could possibly cover the shoe in matching gold stretch vinyl glued to it (like Diana did for Giorno) and then just put foam on the top portion. I'm not sure how you would handle how the edges of the foam would look on the sides, though. Perhaps you could get some thin black trim and put it over that edge and all the other places there are black lines to make it stand out more and to cover any raw edges at the same time.

Would gluing work on a Lycra boot cover? I can;t glue anything to these shoes as they are on loan.

Hmm. I don't think it would. You may have to handsew it together.

Your suggestion does give me a idea how to use the foam, By just attaching the foam to the sides and not bottom of the boot. The only thing i'm worried about is slipping on the Lycra, and if I can find something to give it tread im worried about the lyrcra slipping away from the boots.

I have good balance, but with 5 inch platform I may not fair too well.
