Hey!

Your performance sounds tres fun, but unfortunately I'll be in Colorado that weekend. Raymond and I are taking the train over to visit his parents at their new house, and we're leaving Thursday night and getting back late Saturday night, then I've got a radio shift on Sunday morning.

If I COULD go, however, I think I'd go to the follies until it was Elton John time. Elton John! He's not going to be around forever, and I'll just die if I never hear "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" live. Is there any way you can sneak over to where he's playing during the night?

I DO have a phone number! It's 316-371-4008. In fact, I have your phone number already. Maybe we already swapped numbers at Bluegrass? How was the rest of your bluegrass, by the way?

Hey, yeah I remember giving you my number, but apparently I didn't get yours. Oh well, I have it now. PS Matt's in Wichita today (Wed Oct 3. You should call him! Bluegrass was good, but too short. Yours?

Mine was also good, but too short. I spent most of it working. Bleh. I didn't get to see Tommy play this year, though I heard him a few times from the coffee tent. That's always a highlight for me - that and seeing John McCutcheon.

I only got to see Tommy and John once each, which makes me sad. But I'm so glad Matt made it home in time to go. It made this year very special...even if he doesn't think so.
