The above statement is true. My mother did indeed get hit in the head with a baseball bat. By a teacher. Trying to hit a pinata. WTF. She had to be taken to the emergency room. She's okay, she just has a huge goose egg, a massive headache, and a sore hand. Apparently her hand somehow got hit with the bat as well.

Just add that to the list of things
