its hard to say what to do. part of me is outraged at the fact that your teacher made you do the turns en pointe. so of course that part of me is screaming don't apologize, you did nothing wrong, she should apologize. the other part of me recognizes unfairness is life and i don't know your teacher, but she sounds like she does care but is human and not always perfect. so maybe a card, not just apologizing but explaining whats going on so she knows could just make things a little smoother. bad stuff around recital is not a good thing.

Yeah, I know how you feel, there are some days when just "Point your toe!!!" makes me want to sob. We all feel like that sometimes, just hang in there. Also, make sure you keep heat on that ankle!

My advice is just to apologize. Though you did absolutely nothing wrong maybe if you apologize first and give her the reasons of your crying then she'll realize how she was wrong and apologize. Tell her how important dance is to you, and how you at least attempted to come to class and try instead of staying at home. Thats just my two cents. :)
