I saw a beautiful sunrise this morning. Ella was driving me home at 5:30am and she drove over the saint john's bridge. The sun was just rising to silhouette the three mountains. It was amazing. That image will be one I take with me and remember as portland

There is reason to be sad, yes you are leaving.

Also look at all the good you have been able to make out of high school, a time that most to do not rank anywhere close to their most enjoyable four years on this earth.

It says a lot about you as a person that you have had so much joy among all the drama and bullshit that makes up the back bone of the high school life style.

'Twas a happy time for you in high school and even happier are sure to come. I am sad that I will not be there to share them with you.

I just wanted to say that it was really wonderful seeing you yesterday, even if it was a little bittersweet, with the leaving and all. But I'm working on not being sad, because you're going to have a wonderful time in the Bahamas and then college, I mean, what a combination! But seriously, I'm going to miss you, and I hope I expressed that last night in a much more profound way than livejournal can convey. You've been a really sweet friend and I've been lucky to have you.
Well, I guess I'll see you in december, and hopefully we'll both have some awesome stories to tell. Here's to college!
