Update: Look ma, no tonsils!
Got those little guys removed earlier today, and I feel a lot better. There's a dull pain in the back of my throat, but that'll go away at 10:00, when I can take pain medication again (oxycodone this time). I'm also confined to eating soups and milkshakes for the next five days, and I'm currently working on a chocolate brownie fudge, which tastes ( Read more... ) -

"Wow, that's impressive." "Yep, a classic case of tonsillar abcess."
I gotta say, I really enjoyed the doctor calling what had grown in my mouth a "great big ol' goober." That made me laugh.
So, a couple days ago I had minor surgery for a peritonsillar abcess(if I had a nickel for every time I've said that), which was definately not fun, I can ( Read more... ) -
They speak with a different face, from a different place, for a different case...every time. So do I.
I've had this growing headache for the past two hours.
Each time I log on to this thing, I come with tons of ideas concerning what I want to tell you guys about, but lose the energy right away. Maybe I'm just tired. Later?
I miss the safety, purpose, and comfort of high school. -
