i belong to a group called "freecycle", so i am able to get a lot of cool things that other people don't want. i've received some nice clothes and toys for the kids. i've also obtained some clothes for myself this way.

Happy 20th Anniversary! I haven't watched The Simpsons in years. I saw the movie last year though.
I used to joke that the captain (the one who says Arrrrr) was my favorite, with Snake landing at number 2. Really, I think Homer will always be my favorite. He's just a classic icon of cartoon dads.

I think Kurt Cobain's death. I guess it just came out of left field. I was working the night I found out it happened and I was just shocked. I was also at this angsty point in my life during the end of HS and it got to me more than I expected. Seeing that I'm Jewish, I don't celebrate it at all. I wonder if there will be a writer's block posting about Rosh Hashanah later this month.
However, the events (or at least one big one) of this month are important to me because my little boy is turning 3 in 9 days and he'll have his very first haircut during his party.

Seriously, find the cheapest stations possible. Costco usually has it cheaper than most regular stations. That's all I can really say.
