For me traveling is one big drama and sometimes it turns into a nightmare. I am dependent on others from the time I leave my house till the time I reach my destination. It's a good thing they didn't steal anything... I've had security try to steal my camera equipment when I was on the way to a wedding. Pain patches have a higher street value ;)

I get so nervous about someone taking something especially since I can't see what they are doing. Pain patches, ritilan, and klonopin would give them a nice heafty bonus for working there.

Wow, that's really intense. It must take a great deal of patience to not scream and go off on some of those insensitive folks, though, I suppose you could just be experienced enough to know it wouldn't make any difference. Glad you both made it through in one piece.

The TSA are sensationalized paranoia mongers. I was lucky enough to only deal with them before 2001. I'd rather travel by diesel ship or Greyhound bus, thus increasing fatality risk, than deal with those Orwellian assholes again.

Sorry for your trouble. This is good linear read of one's pains traveling in a globalized terror war world; very clear as to the problems.
